WOUND BADGE in BLACK - A World War I (1914-1918) wound badge in black with its original tissue paper. This near 100 year old artefact is unissued and is in "Stone Mint Condition."  Hollow-backed badges of this era was standard issue and was also made with a cut-out variant. Made from magnetic sheet metal with a soldered hinge pinned to the attachment pin then secured by a "C" catch continued this design throughout WWII. This is a non-upgradeable badge. In this condition, very rare and highly collectable.$79.00
803WOUND BADGE in SILVER - This badge followed the Condor Legion badge in design, using a 1935 styled helmet rather than the earlier helmets used in World War I (1914-1918) and the Condor Legion badge which appears like the standard WWI badge with a swastika at its centre. This is considered the 2nd form wound badge of The Third Reich.  Item is made from war scrap metals because of war shortages resulting in nearly complete oxidation of the silver finish. Please take note this badge is dark gray, not the light colour as portrayed in the photos. Item is maker marked "107", found just under the hinge. Weight is 27.55 grammes, measures 44x37mm.
